The Armoured Pug is an independent Canadian studio and consultancy built on a passion for immersive worlds, thoughtful design, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Founded by Ryan Beland, a seasoned developer and creative lead, The Armoured Pug blends technical expertise with imaginative storytelling to bring both client visions, and original IPs to life. With a background spanning simulation, game development, technical art, and interactive experiences, Ryan has worked with clients and collaborators across the globe, delivering results in industries as diverse as enterprise simulation, entertainment, and digital media.

What We Do

Game Development: From early concept to playable builds, we create stylized, story-rich experiences that focus on atmosphere, mechanics, and player agency.

Consulting & Contract Work: With years of hands-on experience, we support studios and organizations in solving creative and technical challenges, whether it's systems design, prototyping, simulation, or visual pipelines.
